-->Willie Mae P. Waddell WOODRUFF, SC-- Willie Mae Peace Waddell, 93, formerly of West Georgia Road passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Magnolia Manor in Inman. A native of Laurens County, she was born April 05, 1915 to the late Cleveland and Emma Tucker Peace and was the widow of Elford Waddell. She was a charter member of West End Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Arrow Automotive. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Sam Cox Sr. of Boiling Springs; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Lib" and Shaffer Poore of Roebuck; two grand-daughters and their spouses, Roben and Bobby Collins and Kelly and Robert Barbrey; one grandson, Sam Cox Jr.; and one great-grand-daughter, Kristen Collins. Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Lanford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bill Thomason. Entombment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Sam Cox Sr., 222 Blalock Road, Boiling Springs.
