FLANAGAN, WILLIAM J., 72 of Orlando passed away Friday, August 2, 2002. Born in New York, he moved to Orlando in 1992. He was the loving husband of Kay and they would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary on December 27th. He was a wonderful, loving father to Marianne, Billy, Cathy and Maureen and the cherished grandfather (Pop-Pop) of Melissa, Cathy and Sean. Bill served in the Air Force, enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He retired in 1992 after 42 years with Con Edison and loved to travel. Bill is survived by his wife, Kay of Orlando; son, Billy of Ocala; and daughter, Marianne Flanagan of Orlando and daughter and son-in-law Maureen and Tim Jenkins of Orlando; and brother, John of Valley Stream, N.Y. Visitation will be conducted on Sunday, August 4, from 4-8PM in the chapel of Family Care Funeral Home, 13001 S. John Young Parkway, (Hunters Creek), Orlando. Funeral service will be Monday at 11AM. Burial will follow at Dr. Phillips Cemetery.
