DIXON William Eschol Dixon Sr. 75 of Jacksonville passed away January 29, 2003. He was a native of Hazlehurst, GA. And retired from the US Air Force with 20 years service. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was also a retired Master Mechanic of Air Conditioners. Survivors include his son and daughter in law: William E. Dixon Jr. & Alecia, 2 grandchildren: Kanice & Morgan Dixon, brother: Raleigh E. Dixon a sister: Arlene Smiddy, and several nieces and nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday February 1, 2003 in the chapel of COREY- KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave. F. Ray Turner officiating.
