LEE Wayne Yun Chung It is with sadness that we report the death of Wayne Lee of Vancouver. Born January 16, 1953, he passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2007. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Lock Tin Lee, his mother, Annie Ling Han Lore Lee, and sister, Sandrea. He is fondly remembered by his older siblings, Gloria (Ramsay), Cyrena, Stephen (Cathy), and Christina; his nephews, Ryan and Jacob; his niece, Naomi; and his many friends. Wayne graduated from U.B.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and from B.C.I.T. with diplomas in Public Health Inspection and Food Technology. He worked briefly with the Department of Health in Terrace, Vancouver Fancy Sausage, and more recently with Canada Revenue Agency. He was a great fan of cinema and was a long-time supporter of the film scene in Vancouver, particularly the Vancouver International Film Festival for which he volunteered for many years. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care he received from the nursing staff on 4A of the Pattison Pavilion, Vancouver General Hospital. A private family service will be held and a public Celebration of His Life by friends and family will be arranged for the New Year. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society, 1181 Seymour St., Vancouver, BC V6B 3M7 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, BC and Yukon Division, Attention: Donor Services, 565 West 10th Ave., Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J4.
