ADAMS, Wayne Bruce Went to be with his Lord peacefully on October 3, 2008 after a very sudden and unexpected heart attack. Wayne was born in Duncan, BC on October 5, 1946. A few years later he moved to Victoria with his family where he graduated from Vic High. He went on to study at the University of Victoria before embarking on a 7-year journey beginning in England, through Europe to India on a search for the meaning of life. There he discovered God in a very real and life changing way. Upon returning to Victoria he began his career of serving others through nursing, first at Memorial Pavilion as an orderly and then for the last 29 years as a Registered Nurse at Victoria General Hospital (most recently 4BS). He was predeceased by his parents, Bob (Robert) and Kay (Kathleen) Adams and is survived by his brother Michael (Linda) and nephew and niece. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 24 years, Donna (nee Lowe) and his beloved son, Mark. Heart felt thanks to the CCU RJH Nursing Staff and Cardiologists who went above and beyond in their care. Wayne will be deeply missed by his co-workers, patients and family for his wonderful gift of caring and listening to others and always going the extra mile. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Saanichton Bible Fellowship, Mt Newton X Road, Saanichton, BC 504852
