W. Mae "Shaw" Gannon, age 75, of Berkley and Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Aug. 12, after a long illness. She resided in Bridgewater for 40 years. Mae was very active in Bridgewater politics, Little League, Recreation Commission, Prattown Community Club and owner of Dandy Domestics Home Cleaning. Mae also founded the Jenny F. Leonard Park and was a licensed real estate agent. Mae never truly left her southern Texan roots and loved Country music. Mae leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Bill; sons, Patrick and Bernadette of Bridgewater, Michael and Marie of Taunton and Tim and Darlene of Bridgewater; as well as daughters, Donna and Mike Faria of Taunton, Ann and Barry Semas of Bridgewater and Mary and Michael Durocher of Berkley; grandsons, Kevin, Bryan, Keith and Gregg Faria, Adam Gannon and Cameron Durocher. Also granddaughters, Tara Gannon, Brittney Durocher, Courtney and Joslyn Semas, Emily and Olivia Gannon and Heather, Stephanie and Katey Gannon. Mae also leaves behind four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth, Wayne, Robert and mother of infant son Joseph. Funeral from the Prophet, Chapman, Cole and Gleason, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, at 10.
