Obituary of Virginia-Louise Lee


LEE Virginia Louise Lee went to home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2012. She was born in Baxley, Georgia on January 29, 1920. Louise moved to Jacksonville in the 1940's where she met and married her husband of 61 years, William Arnold Lee, who predeceased her September 2008. She was a former member of Beaver Street Baptist Church and current member of Westside Baptist Church. Louise was a kind, sweet, Christian woman. Her children will tell you she was the best mother there could have possibly been. Her grandchildren will tell you what a wonderful person she was. She will be missed very much. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son Dennis (Sylvia) Lee; daughter Janice (Jerry) Harvin; brother Vernon Williams; sisters Willie Ina (Billie) Trawick, Marie Williams, and Glenda Hook; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, June 4, 2012 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, FL with Brother Ray Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow services at Edgewood Cemetery. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
