MORRIS, VIRGINIA L., 78, formerly of Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Norton Hospital Hospice Unit in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther T. and Pina Lee McKinnley Redom of Adair County, KY; a son, Robert C. Morris Jr. and one sister, Julia Simmons. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and a registered nurse. She is survived by one son, Richard R. Morris of Louisville; brother, Luther Ray Redmon of Columbia; six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. (CST) at the Columbia Cemetery in Columbia, KY. The family will receive friends at the Columbia Cemetery after 12:30 p.m. (CST) on Monday.
