Virginia Garvey Johnson Virginia Garvey Johnson, 90, a homemaker and retired secretary, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003. A graveside service will be later in Columbus, N.C., where she will rest with her loving husband, Frank L. Johnson Sr. Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (877-8191) is handling arrangements.Born Nov. 5, 1912, she was a native of New York City. She was a resident of Westminster Oaks for the last 10 years since moving from Tryon, N.C. She is survived by a son, Frank L. Johnson Jr. and two grandchildren, Jaclyn Rikki Johnson and Francis Lester "Trey" Johnson III.
