Polk County SchoolsLAKELAND -- Mrs. Virginia Smith Coleman of Lakeland died of complications from a fall Friday (Aug. 8, 2003) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 61.Born Sept. 25, 1941, in Sylvania, Ga., she came here when she was 10. She was an attendant for a handicapped school bus for the Polk County School District. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Lake Morton.Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, William R. Coleman; daughter, Robin Bracy, Lakeland; mother, Willie May Smith, Mulberry; sisters, Mary Kane and Betty Robinson, both of Willow Oak, Leila Register, Riverview, Shirley Arrington, Sylvania, Diane Hughes, Mulberry, Martha Mullis, Lakeland; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
