Virginia B. Johnson, 78, Seymour, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.Virginia was born in Huntsville, Madison County, Ala., on Jan. 13, 1932, the daughter of William Virgil and Vivian Beam Elmore. She was married to Paul E. Johnson, who preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1980.She was employed as a supervisor at the Excello Shirt Factory. She also worked as an operator for Indiana Telephone Co. and as a real estate agent. Virginia was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.She is survived by her children, Barbara Lauster Scott, Timothy (Elizabeth) Johnson and David Johnson; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her lifetime companion, Bob Finnerty.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bud Mills and Wayne Packard; and sister, Faye Packard.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev.
