Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Ann Wood age 62 are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday January 23 2006 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Wood died Saturday in Jackson. She was born October 8 1943 in Henderson County TN to the late Willie and Della Wood. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Della Wood and a brother Eddie Wood. She is survived by brother Ernest Wood Velvie of Wildersville TN and a sister Catherine Cagle Jessie of Parsons TN. She is also survived by nieces Melissa Simmons Jeff Pam Lackey Alan and nephews Brent Jonathan Ed Wood Jr. The family will receive friends today from 10 AM - 1 PM at Pafford Funeral Home.
