Verna Mae Harris, 81, Bradenton, died June 7, 2006. She was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Springfield, Ohio, and came to Bradenton in 1989 from there. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ed; a daughter, Brenda Salvatori of Sarasota; a son, John Tyree of Ohio; a sister, Ruth of Springfield; a brother, Don of Springfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. ICS Cremation Society Inc. in Cape Coral is in charge.
