Thomas McCaffrey, 59, of East Bridgewater, died peacefully, April 12. Tom grew up in West Bridgewater. He graduated from West Bridgewater High School in 1971 and Boston College in 1975 with a BS in Physics. Tom worked his entire adult life with the Ridder family of East Bridgewater and was an intricate part of the operations at the Ridder Farm Golf Club. He was always grateful for his relationship with Jon Ridder and was proud of his job. Tom was a friend to many, was known to always lend a helping hand, with never an unkind word. His legacy is his friends and he will be missed by many. He was a loving son of Hope M. McCaffrey of Middleboro and the late Francis. He was the beloved partner of Carolyn R. Barlow of East Bridgewater; brother of Mercedes (Ray) Behm, Elizabeth McCaffrey, and John (Sue) McCaffrey, all of FL, Robert (Sara) McCaffrey of OR, Edward McCaffrey and Lisa Manna of West Bridgewater, Kate (Paul) McGonigle of Middleboro, Patricia McCaffrey and Martin Hemler of Newton, Michael McCaffrey and Elizabeth Mayer of RI, and Bill (Lesley) McCaffrey of CA. He was pre-deceased by brother Frank. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Annabelle. A memorial service will be held at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m., with a visitation period starting at 10 a.m. The service will be followed by a reception at V.F.W.Post 1046, 283 North Quincy St., Brockton from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Donations may be made to HopeHealth, 765 Attucks Ln., Hyannis, MA 02601 or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
