Services for Thomas E. Hopper 85 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 7 2004 at Roberts Karnes Funeral Home in Rutherford. Burial will follow in City Cemetery in Rutherford. Mr. Hopper a Mechanic at Hadley Construction Co. died Monday January 5 2004 at Gibson County General Hospital in Trenton TN. He was a member of Northern Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Lois S. Hopper; daughters Patricia Hopper of Jackson TN Sue Pope and Carolyn Workman both of Rutherford TN; and three grandchildren Kim Holt of Trenton TN Barry Workman of Rutherford TN and Demetra Rust of Milan TN. He was preceded in death by his parents John Harve and Nellie Long Hopper. Visitation will be held today from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Roberts Karnes Funeral Home 731-665-7654
