Theresa J. Major Henderson, 80, of Linden, N.J., was called home on Dec. 6, 2010. Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Abundant Life Family Worship Center, 259 George St., New Brunswick, N.J. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are in the loving care of the Nesbitt Funeral Home, 165 Madison Ave., Elizabeth, N.J. Born in Lincolnville, S.C., Mrs. Henderson was employed by Macy's and RCA Corporation in Harrison, N.J. She was a loving caregiver to many children. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Henderson, and a daughter, Lori. Theresa is survived by her two sons, Keith and Kent (Shannon) Henderson; five grandchildren, Lamar (Malikah), Shanai, Kwame, Kendall, and Samir; one great-grandchild, Kahjayah Henderson; two brothers, George and James Major, one sister, Vivian Washington (Richard); brother-in-law, John Henderson (Ann); sisters-in-law, Violet Turner (Andy) and Alterwese Major, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
