NICHOLASVILLE - Teresa S. Martin, 50, wife of Dale Martin, went home to be with the Lord after a short illness on Thursday, Feb 12th 2015. Teresa was born in Lexington on May 27th, 1964 to Irene Long Searcy and the late Shirley Searcy. Teresa is also survived by her daughter and best friend Heather N. Martin and mother Irene Long Searcy, both of Lexington. She was a 20+ year employee of Eli's Shell in Nicholasville and loved her job and friends she got to spend time with every day. Services will be conducted 10am Monday at Betts and West Funeral Home by Craig Tackett and Robert Baker officiating. Teresa will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jim Halcomb, Cleatous Coffey, Tony Burgess, Lanny Hall, Bobby Mcintyre and Mike Garrett.
