Sue Robinson, age 70, of West Frankfort, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 11:30 P.M. at her residence. She was born August 5, 1939 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Loren Britton and Lenora (Brubaker) Britton. She married Troy E. "Ted" Robinson and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2005. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Robinson of West Frankfort, Bill and wife, Diane Robinson of Thompsonville and John Robinson of West Frankfort; a daughter, Becky Robinson of Carbondale; two grandsons, Keith and wife, Elizabeth Robinson of Marion and Luis Clark of Carbondale; a brother, Ross Britton of West Frankfort; sisters, Bonnie Burris and Roe Myers both of Irvine, Ca.; Joyce Thomas of West Frankfort, Jean Bargeman of Las Vegas and Nancy and husband, Bill McKaben of St. Charles, Mo.; 30 nieces and nephews, sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Dan Williams and sister-in-law, Leona Wilson all of West Frankfort She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ted Robinson. She was a member of the West Frankfort Elks Lodge and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was formerly worked as a Social Service Director for the Franklin Co. Housing Authority and had also worked for State Farm Insurance in West Frankfort for many years Memorial services will be Friday, June 18, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted and the funeral home.
