Steve Douglas Davis, 56, of Daytona Beach Shores, departed this life on Sat., May 2, 2009 while in route to visit relatives in Man, W.V. He was born in Lincoln County, W.V. Steve was the son of the late Okey and Nicla Davis. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his only sibling, Anna Garrett. Steve was a retired carpenter and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Deborah Carol Brown Davis; two children, Stephanie Hanks, Steven Anthony "Tony" Davis; and their spouses, Jeff Hanks and Angela Davis; five grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Kenshaun, Karma and Heaven Hanks, all of the Daytona area. He will be loved and missed by everyone that knew him. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
