LEMIEUX, Sister Rose (Sister Louis-Hector) December 27, 1920 - February 15, 2008 Sister Rose Lemieux, SP passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton on February 15, 2008 at the age of 87. She leaves to mourn her loss the members of her religious community, (the Sisters of Providence) and her sisters; Mrs. Louise Lamarche, Mrs. Marie Lapalme, Mrs. Eliane Cox, Mrs. Irene Power, Mrs. Helen Rousson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Hector Lemieux and Agnes Savard and her brothers, Albert and Robert. Prayers will be held at Providence Centre on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Providence Centre Chapel, 3005 - 119 Street, Edmonton at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Father Duncan MacDonnell will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Providence Sisters Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta.
