Signe Elvera Eleanor Anderson, age 91, of Carmel and formerly of the Bronx passed away on Oct. 2, 2008. She graduated from White Plains Hospital School of Nursing in 1939 and had a long nursing career at White Plains Hospital until retiring in 1978 and moving to Carmel with her beloved sister Hannah Anderson in 1991.
