SHIRLEY JEAN CAMPBELL (nee CLAYTON) May 21, 1913 January 14, 2006 Shirley's passing occurred in North Battleford, January 14, 2006 at 92 years of age. She leaves to celebrate her life her son, Clayton (Dianne), their children, Britt (Charlotte) and Rob; her daughter, Maureen; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Noreen and Joyce Clayton; sister-inlaw, Vi Campbell. She was predeceased by her parents, Britton and Ada Clayton; husband, Maurice; sister, Beth Ritchie; brothers-inlaw, Sterling Ritchie, Scotty Campbell and Bob Wilde; sister-in-law, Marion Wilde. A life-long learner, she obtained her Grade XII at age 55 years. Her passions included curling, bowling, duplicate bridge, gardening, crossword puzzles and watching all sports. She participated in several medical research projects while working at the University of Saskatchewan Ellis Hall & Hostel Unit and bequeathed her body to the College of Medicine. The family thank all the staff at Battleford's District Care Centre and River Heights Lodge for their care and compassion. Join us in celebrating Shirley's life on Saturday, January 21, 2006, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the North Battleford Legion (1352-100th Street). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the aforementioned longterm care facilities or The North Battleford Granite Curling Club Building Fund (care of the City of North Battleford at 1291-101st St.)
