Sharon Johnson of Newark, N.J., departed this life on April 29, 2014. Visitation is on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Christian Love Baptist Church, 830 Lyons Ave., Irvington, N.J. Funeral service to follow. Interment is at Clinton Cemetery, Irvington, N.J. Arrangements are entrusted to Cotton Funeral Service. Sharon was the devoted mother of Nafeesah, Njirah, Inayiah, and the late Jameel Johnson; loving daughter of Lurine and the late James Shorter, and the cherished sister of Timothy, Steve, and Lawanda Shorter. She also leaves to cherish, a host of relatives and friends.
