MCCORMICK, S.C.- Mrs. Sara Seigler White, 80, of Route 2, wife of the late R. T . White, entered into rest Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, July 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Plum Branch Baptist Church with Revs. Darrell Engle and Otto McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Plum Branch Cemetery. Mrs. White was born in McCormick County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Minnie Seigler White. She was a retired textile operator of 42 years from Milliken Mills, a member of Plum Branch Baptist Church, the McCormick E.M.S., Golden Step Cloggers, Sunshine Girls, Advisory Council for Clemson Extension Agency. Survivors include son, Alton White, McCormick; daughters, Patsy W. Smith, Martinez, Ga., Barbara W. Boyd, Grovetown, Ga., Susan White, McCormick; eight grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Billy Seigler, Dwayne Stapleton, Greg Seigler, Chris Boyd, Tommy Kelaher, Lee Hegler, Buck y Seigler and Jimmy Seigler. Memorials may be made to the McCormick Emergency Services, Augusta St. Ext., McCormick, S.C. 29835. Friends may call at the residence of Alton White, McCormick, S.C.
