GARVEY, Sara 50, died October 28th 2011 at her home in Kerrisdale, Vancouver, BC. A Memorial Service will be held at St Augustine's Church at 11am on Thursday, November 10th. The church is located at 2028 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver (near Arbutus). Sara moved to Vancouver from the East coast in the early 80's. As a vivacious and outgoing person, Sara made many friends in Vancouver over the years that she worked at the Bombay Bicycle Club (Day's Inn) and the Georgia Hotel. Sara loved to help other people with her kindness and her humor. She was always taking the time to stop and talk to people in the street, sharing her positive energy with them, to enrich their lives. She also devoted a lot of her time to helping the people that live in the Downtown East side who will no doubt miss her home-made soup. She is survived by her mother, Leona Garvey of Chipman NB; son, Justin Caudwell of Vancouver, BC; siblings Jennifer, Laurie, Suzie and Michael.
