AUSTIN JOHNSON, SANDRA KAYE (DEATON), 56, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. She was born October 3, 1949, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Harlan and Edna Vires Deaton. Survivors include her children, Crystal Johnson, Billy Johnson , and Charley Johnson, all of Austin; brothers, James Deaton of Austin, Tommy Deaton of Kentucky, and Jimmy Deaton of Scottsburg; sister, Patricia Deaton of Seymour; and one granddaughter on the way, Jenna Jennings. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 24, 2005, at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
