She is survived by her mother, Eva Bessie Jones; step-daughter, Denise Carson; brother, Ralph Jones; and god-daughter, Jackie Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Smith and father, Julian Miles. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
