NORTHPORT S. Mae Williams, age 91, of Northport, died Oct. 7, 2008, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Bill Jackson officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Williams, son, Gene Williams, granddaughter, Sheri Hannah, and brothers and sisters.Survivors include her daughter, Edna Hannah (Monroe); son, Jimmy Williams (Judi); grandchildren, James Tracy Williams (Joey) and Mark Williams (Bekki); and great grandchildren, Thomas, Elizabeth, Andi Kate, and Isbella.Mae was a member of the Five Points Baptist Church, loved the lord, and lived her conviction with a servant's heart.She was loved by her family and friends and was especially loving to all children. She had a special love for grandchildren and great grandchildren, and had very caring nieces and nephews.We especially appreciate Bertis Guy and Minnie Jones for their many hours of compassionate service, the staff of Heritage Nursing Home, and Hospice of West Alabama.It is with great joy that the family knows that she is now made whole and is at home with her Lord.
