Ruth T. Smith August 27, 1929-November 16, 2014 Myrtle Beach, SC Ruth T. Smith, 85 passed away, November 16, 2014 at her home in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born August 27, 1929 in Marion, SC a daughter of the late Herbert and Bessie (Perritt) Turbeville. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Smith, her brothers, Spencer, Frank, Delton and Lonnie Turbeville, her sisters, Grace Richardson, Julia Porter and Corrine Collins and her son, Thomas Hinds. Ruth was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She worked as a sales clerk in a beachwear store. Survivors include, a son, Walt Hinds and wife, Nancy of Loris, SC, two daughters, Doris Jenner and husband, Bill of Mullins, SC and Katheren Skinner of Marion, SC; five grandchildren, Joe Hinds, Marsha Voisin, John Hinds, Ryan Hatchell and Richard Hinds; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will greet friends prior to the funeral at Hillcrest Cemetery Mausoleum from 2:00-3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM November 18, 2014 at Hillcrest Mausoleum in Conway, SC with Chaplin Carlene Glisson officiating.
