SMITH, Ruth S., 85, passed away peacefully January 24, 2007. Ruth is survived by sons, Michael Smith (Lynn), Valrico, Fla., and William Smith (Amy), Roswell, N.M.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo M. Smith Sr. Memorial services will take place at 1 p.m. January 31, 2007, at Apostles Lutheran Church 200 Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL 33510. An Eastern Star inurment will take place at 11 a.m. February 8, 2007, at Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue, Neb.
