Davis Davis, Ruth Markowitz, beloved wife of the late Morris Davis, passed away April 5, 2003 at her home in Wynmoor, Coconut Creek, FL. Devoted mother of Joan Breman, Pgh, PA; Barbara Feldman & son-in-law Jack A. Feldman, Augusta, GA; grandmother of Sherri & Michael Preston, Ballwin, MO; Steven Breman, Brighton, MA; Stuart & Karin Feldman, Tustin, CA; Nancy Feldman, Augusta; great-grandmother of Rachel & Alex Preston; sister of Rosalind & brother-in-law Lester Klein, Wynmoor, and Helen Kessler, Holiday Springs. Mrs. Davis grew up in Far Rockaway, NY and later worked in Wash., DC. After her marriage, she was a homemaker in NY and Pgh., and eventually worked at the Univ. of Pgh. Ruth was always active in Hadassah and B'nai B'rith Women, holding numerous offices. In FL, she was secretary for her building and Oakland Estates Condo. Assn. She enjoyed piano, reading, Canasta, painting, current affairs and community activities at Wynmoor. Her strength of character, loving nature and sense of humor will be missed.
