RUTH MAELAWSON, 91Library Tech PLANT CITY - Lawson, Ruth Mae, age 91, formerly of Plant City, FL, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 in Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Lawson was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was retired from the University of Tampa as a Library Tech and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Lawson was predeceased by her husband Gwyn R. Lawson. Survivors include her sons: Mickey Lawson (Nancy), Ronnie Lawson (Joan); daughters: Susan Lawson, Donna Ruth Bryan (Jerry); brother, John D. Gardner of Atlanta, GA; sister, Jo Dickey of Kernersville, NC; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30th at Wells Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jim Brady officiating, interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
