Mrs. Ruth Lawson, daughter of Ruth Davis, born on September 8, 1941, passed away August 2 at home after a hard fought battle with cancer. Ruth worked for 12 years for Ollis and Company Insurors and St. Paul Insurance Company before she retired. She enjoyed doing yard work and interior design. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruth was a member of the East Grand Church of Christ. Ruth was preceded in death by her father and two infant sons. Survivors include her husband, Ron Lawson; one daughter, Lexi Sneed and husband, Jeffrey, of Springfield, Mo.; one son, Steve Lawson of Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister, Carolyn Uzzell of Springfield, Mo.; mother-in-law, Hazel Lawson; and two grandchildren, Keaton and Kyla Sneed. Services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S.
