JOHNSON Ruth C., 90, of Westwood, NJ, formerly of Dumont, NJ and Forked River, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 7, 2014. Ruth was born in New York City to Albert and Caroline Bender. Beloved wife of the late Roland Johnson. Devoted mother of Robert Johnson and his wife Laura; and Ruthann Cuffe and her husband Robert. Dear sister of the late Robert Bender. Loving grandmother of Ken, Tim and Brooke. Ruth was a secretary having worked for The Old North Reformed Church and Mr. Insurance, both in Dumont. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, April 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service celebrating Ruth's life and faith will be held at The Old North Reformed Church, Dumont, NJ on Friday, April 11th at 10 AM. Interment will follow the service at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
