Ruby Lee Saxton Henderson, 82, of 28 Hayne St., widow of Roy Minford Henderson, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Louvenia Elrod Saxton. Retired: McCall's Drug Store in Piedmont. Member: Piedmont Presbyterian Church and Long-Simpson Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Henderson Reeves, of Piedmont; a sister, Ressie Moore, of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Donnie Howard and Brian Howard, both of Pelzer; four great-grandchildren, Amy Arrowood, Stephanie Howard, Ashley Howard and Ryan Howard; and one great-great-grandchild, Christopher Arrowood. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, conducted by the Rev. Ron Thomas. Burial: Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at 3 Sue Cleveland School Road, Piedmont, and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
