Ruby Culbertson Moore, 70, wife of L.K. Moore Jr., of 10921 Neely Ferry Road, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Laurens County Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Nellie Gertrude Martin Culbertson. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Laurens Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, L.K. Moore Jr. of the home; a daughter, Debbie Whiteford and husband, Robert, of Waterloo; two brothers, William B. Culbertson and Marcus Culbertson, both of Laurens; two sisters, Dorothy C. Sisk and Bonita C. Ziegenfuss, both of Laurens; and two grandchildren, Robin W. Gantt and Carrie J. Whiteford. She was predeceased by three sisters, Sara C. Davis, Viola C. Hendrix and Jean C. Vaughn. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, March 15, 2003, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James K. Hamilton, with burial in Cross Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her daughter, 10815 Neely Ferry Road, Waterloo. - Kennedy Mortuary is in charge.
