June 10, 2004 Mrs. Rose Davis, 67, of 105 Mark Ave., departed this life on Thursday at University Hospital. She was born in Tuskegee, AL, and was a Syracuse resident for 36 years. She attended public schools in Alabama and Florida. She was formerly employed at Syracuse Hotel for 28 years. She was a member of Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors: her husband James E. Davis; three sisters, Mary Brown of Apopka, FL, Ethel Brown of Syracuse, and Nadine Parker of New York; two brothers, Jessie B. Ingram of Apopka, FL, and twin brother Robert Ingram of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two goddaughters; one godson; and her very dear friends, Evelyn Hill and Minnie Brown, both of Syracuse. Services: Saturday, 11 a.m. at Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. at the church, 219 W. Castle St. Garland Bros.
