Rose Clara Smith Aug. 12, 1924 - Apr. 11, 2014 NORWICH - Rose Clara Smith, age 89, of Norwich, passed away on April 11, 2014 at Orchard Grove Nursing Home in Uncasville. She was born on August 12, 1924 in Norwich to the late Jozeph and Mary (Iwasko) Misinsky. She was married to her loving husband, the late Albert Lee Smith. Rose is survived by a son Douglas Smith of Norwich, a daughter Suzanne Margaret Rich of Shelton, a daughter Dianne Smith Philips of Oakland, CA and a sister Helen Boynton. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family and friend may visit Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Home Service at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
