October 25, 2003 Rose A. Stevenson-Smith, 70, of Central Square, died October 25, 2003. Born in Odessa, she lived in Central Square for 47 years. She retired in 1991 after 35 years of service for General Electric, Liverpool. Mrs. Stevenson-Smith was a 4-H Leaderand a devoted mother and grandmother and also was an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Vernon K. Smith; five daughters, Pearl Holt-Silvan Blasczienski of Mexico, Pamela Stevenson, Phyllis McIntosh, and Patricia (T.C.) Thornock, all of Central Square, and Paula Ryan of Liverpool; two sons, Richard Stevenson of Central Square and Patrick Stevenson of Seagoville, Tx.; a sister, Irene Richtmyer of Watkins Glen; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Watson Funeral Home Inc., 631 S. Main St., Central Square, N.Y. 13036 with burial in Union Settlement Cemetery, West Monroe. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, October 28, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
