BECK Robert William “Billy” Beck, Jr., 69, of Hickory, N.C., died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born October 31, 1938 in Export, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Laura Mae Anderson Ballentine. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Alexander Ballentine.
