Robert Lee Johnson Robert Lee Johnson, 74, a retired Jackson County school bus driver, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edna Mae Johnson. The service will be at 1 p.m. EST (noon CST) Tuesday at Cathedral of Faith in Tallahassee, with burial at Southside Cemetery.Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST Monday at Strong & Jones Funeral Home (224-2139) and Tuesday from 10 a.m. EST until the service at the church. A native of Grand Ridge, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1988. He was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Other survivors include four sons, Jerome and Wilfred Christopher Johnson, both of Tallahassee, Jefferson Todd Johnson of Wewahitchka and Benjamin Johnson of Fort Pierce; six daughters, Luevernia Morgan (and husband Elijah), Ernestine Abdul (and husband Mohammed), Margerite Williams (and husband Moses) and Mildred Johnson, all of Tallahassee, Mary Bowser (and husband Frederick) of Columbus, Ga., and Amanda Johnson of Dunedin; six brothers, C.L. Johnson (and wife Lenora), Ronnie Johnson (and wife Gwen) Johnson and Lamar Johnson, all of Marianna, Jimmy Johnson (and wife Gloria) and Moses Johnson, both of Sneads, and William Johnson (and wife Peggy) of Blountstown; two sisters, Dorothy Black (and husband Cleveland) and Martha Baker, both of Marianna; two sisters-in-law, Doris Johnson of Sneads and Margie Johnson of Chattahoochee; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.His oldest son, Robert Louis Johnson, preceded him in death.
