Robert James Lee, 83, of Port Orange, passed away on December 29. Bob was born on June 2, 1928, in West Rutland, Vermont, and later moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York. Soon after graduating from high school, he joined the Navy in 1945. He served as a Gunner's Mate Third Class and was honorably discharged in 1949. He worked 26 years as a bus driver at Indianapolis Public Transit. Upon retirement Bob moved to Florida. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles - Port Orange #4089. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Notre Dame football. He is preceded in death by his wife Jackie; brother George Lee of Long Island, New York; sister Ann (Jack) Carroll of Chester, Vermont; and sister Mary of Alaska. He is survived by a son, Kenneth (Laurie) Lee; loving wife Edda (Cheney) Lee; her children, Dolores, Sandra, David, Robert and Johnny; grandchildren Dillon, Diana, Bryanna and Sabrina; sister Shirle (Mike) DeSerio of Brooklyn, New York and brother Charlie of San Francisco, California.
