McKENNA, Robert H. Passed away at age sixty-one in Montreal. Beloved father of Marie Ellen, Joan Page and Maxime Xavier (Rosine Ouellette). He is also cherished and mourned by former spouses Ellen Cassidy and Marie Lapointe, who remained a dear and faithful friend. His humour, intelligence and sharp wit will be forever missed by all who knew him. Born in New York, New York, he served in the United States Marine Corps before attaining a Masters degree from Michigan State University and pursuing his doctoral studies at Universite d'Aix-en-Provence. His lifelong passion for sailing brought him great joy and he will be fondly remembered by his friends in the sailing community. A memorial service will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, on Friday, July 7 at 4 p.m. A wake follows at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club, 1350 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval.
