Robert Edward Campbell, 70, of Town Creek, died after an extended illness at his home May 25, 2011. He was a loving and great husband, father and Paw Paw.He was preceded in death by his parents, Earline Hooper and Marion Campbell; stepmother, Hazel Greathouse; and a sister, Sue Thomas.He is survived by his wife, Olivia "Libby" Campbell; daughters, Carole Campbell and Crystal Johnson (Buddy); grandchildren, Briana Campbell, Natasha Campbell, Benjamin Johnson (Heather) and April Johnson; brothers, M.C. Campbell Jr. and John Hooper; sisters, Juanita Prince, Barbara Gamble, Shelby Allen, Marvetta Owens, Ann Doss, Virginia Jackson, Bertha Boydston and Joyce Terry.The family would like to extend special thanks to Brother Eddie Wix and all of the nurses at Hospice of the Tennessee Valley and Dr. James Ashmore and staff.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, with a service to follow immediately after from 12:30-1 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home, and burial will be at a later date.
