Obituary of Rita-Y. Miller


MANCHESTER -- Rita Y. Miller, 70, died Dec. 8, 2010, at Elliot Hospital. She was born April 24, 1940, in Goffstown to George and Julie (Bernard) Camire. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was active in helping with its food pantry. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyedcooking. She was a great cook. Prior to retirement, she worked at Provider Enterprises. Members of her family include her husband of 52 years, Walter J. Miller of Manchester; son Roger M. Miller of Manchester; two brothers, Roger Camire of Merrimack and Maurice Camire of Manchester; two sisters, Jeannette Gagne of Merrimack and Claire Kellogg of Glendale, Ariz.; several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by three children, Daniel Miller, Debra Miller and Joseph Miller. SERVICES: A memorial service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Cain & Janosz Funeral Home, 74 Brook St., corner of Pine Street, Manchester, with the Rev. Luis Benavides officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester 03102; or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, 114 Perimeter Road, Unit G & H, Nashua 03063.
