Rita Bélanger, 22 Winnipeg, Kapuskasing, died at Sudbury Regional Hospital on Oct. 9, 2000. She was 80 years old. Mrs. Bélanger was born Oct. 2, 1920 in St. Alexandre, Quebec. She worked as a secretary for Kapuskasing Dairy and Byng Drycleaners. She enjoyed cross country skiing, walking and the outdoors. She is survived by husband Sébastien, son Daniel of Montreal, grandson Sébastien, daughter Lise Bélanger-Duguay (Richard Duguay) of Kap, , and sister Gilberte Dumais of Kap. Rev. Gilles Gosselin will direct the funeral service tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée Conception. Mrs. Bélanger will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
