HALL, Rebecca Marie Leanne (Moore) - Born February 19, 1912, Cedres, Quebec - It is with many tears that the family of Rebecca (Ruby) Hall announces her passing on Sunday May 27, 2007 at the Welland Hospital site. Ruby was a long time resident of Welland. Ruby was a wonderful grandmother and friend, known for her good sense of humour, and love of life. She was an exceptional seamstress and her home was always ready for visitors with lots of baked goodies. Ruby loved to get together with the family for special holidays and dinners. She made every get together a special occasion. She was predeceased by her first husband Arnold Stevens (1960) and her second husband Edgar Hall (1970), stepson Edward Hall (1993) and sister-in- law Helen Kendall (2005). She is survived by her stepsons Ross Hall (Barbara), Welland, ON, and Douglas Hall (Cheryl), Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was Grandma Ruby to Elizabeth Daly, Fonthill, ON, and great grandchildren Laura and Mathew Rusenstrom and to Barbara Ann Hall-Jarvis, Welland, ON and great grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew. Ruby will be sadly missed by her grand sons-in-law Randy Daly and Stephen Jarvis. Randy and Steve maintained Ruby's home on Merritt Street for many years so that she could enjoy her home and gardens for as long as possible. She is survived by her cousin, Betty Hart of Fonthill, ON and will be remembered by her friends Lynne Parise and Larry Generoux, Welland, ON. A special thank you to Dr. J. Hope for her special care in Ruby's last days and to the staff of the sixth floor. Your care and support meant a lot to Ruby and to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the DAVIDSON-WALKER FUNERAL HOMES LTD., Hellems Ave., Welland. In keeping with Ruby's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, with entombment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. 10673787
