<!-- FH = Florida Memorial -->Dr. Raymond ChinnMelbourne, FLDr. Raymond Chinn, 96, of Melbourne, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Dr. Jey Pillai Center for Hospice Care, Rockledge, FL. Dr. Chinn was born in Washington, DC, and came to Brevard County in 1974 from Silver Spring, MD.Dr. Raymond Chinn was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy, and was a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Dr. Raymond Chinn was a graduate of George Washington University Medical School, and was the chief of Medical Staff Holy Cross Hospital. He was also a commander in the US Navy and awarded the WWII Victory Ribbon, American Defense Service Ribbon and Asiatic Pacific Area Ribbon with two stars.He is survived by his wife, Joyce Chinn; three daughters, Mary Bergsman, Janet Davies and Dr. Sara Karabasz; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 2nd, from 2-3 PM at Advent Lutheran Church, with services at 3 PM at the church. Interment will be at Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville, MD.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Advent Lutheran Church, or Dr. Jey Pillai Center for Hospice Care.
