LEE _ Quan Johnson, July 28, 1948 - April 2, 2006. Quan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, family and friends at the Marion Hospice in Vancouver after a courageous battle with cancer. Quan was born in Chungsan, Province of Kwangtung, China and at the age of 7 moved to Trinidad, West Indies where he met his childhood sweetheart and future wife, Joyce. He came to Vancouver in 1968 and attended Simon Fraser University where he graduated as a Chartered Accountant. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Joyce and sons, Tony, his wife Nancy and daughter Caitlyn, Colin and his fiancee Anita, Kelvin and his girlfriend Rebecca, Richard and his girlfriend Rosita and Steven; his mother, Dorothy (nee Kwok) Lee Too and two sisters and brother, Marcel (Gijs) Van Rooijen and daughters Kira, Shanine and Jenna of Calgary, Helen (James) Kennedy and son Wyeth and Gus (Lorna) Lee and daughter Megan, as well as his extended family living in Canada and abroad. He will also be missed by his large circle of friends especially Owen and Kit Chan, Felix and Ahyen Leong-Sit, Flora and Tom Yu, Phillip and Priscilla Leung, Ray and Marina Lam, Keith and Kevin Bao and Ken and Jenny Chin Pang (Toronto) for their ongoing support during his long battle with cancer. Quan will always be remembered for his generosity, love and hardworking no-nonsense attitude. Over the years he has been a mentor, substitute father and brother to family, friends and strangers. He will be sadly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3024 East 52nd Avenue, Vancouver, B.C.
