Priscilla "Shirley" Patterson, 63, died Aug. 12, 2012. She was born in Fort Gibson, Miss., and lived in Vero Beach. Survivors include her parents, Deacon Russell Gibson and Myra Gibson of Vero Beach; daughters, Lillian Patterson, Tina Trusty and JoAnn Patterson, all of Vero Beach; son, Carlos Hawkins of Stuart; brothers, Russell Gibson Jr. and Edward Gibson, both of Tampa, and Moses Williams of Fort Gibson, Miss.; sister, Brenda Neely of Sebastian; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 18 at from Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Hortense/Mills Funeral Home.
